the successful candidate will demonstrate clinical skills and knowledge related to assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for patients and families in Oncology, Hematology & Nephrology. In keeping with the mission and value statements of the hospital, they will also:

Practices according to the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario, the Hospital and the Oncology PSU; Is accountable for maintaining competence and developing expertise in the quality of his/her professional practice; Participates in Quality Improvement and Research opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS Current Ontario Registration with the CNO (Essential) Current BCLS certificate (Essential) Two (2) year paediatric experience (Preferred) 6 months of Hematology & Oncology experience (Preferred) Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (Preferred) APHON certification (Preferred) Vulnerable Sector Check (Essential)* Bilingual (English/French) (Essential) \*Please note you will be represented by the Ontario Nurses Association (ONA). This process may include more varied and multidimensional testing such as a written test, practical exam, or other assessment.
