implementing and evaluating nursing care for individual patients/families.
Effectively uses the nursing process* Practices according to the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario, the Hospital, and the patient service unit* Provides appropriate learning experiences for the patient and family to promote or maintain wellness, and to achieve an optimal quality of life* Is accountable for maintaining competence while developing the quality of his/ her professional nursing practice ## QUALIFICATIONS Experience with the paediatric population (minimum 2 years) (Essential) Current Certification of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (Essential) Current CPR Certification (Essential) Demonstrated culturally sensitive approach to nursing care (Essential) Demonstrated robust family centered care skills (Essential) Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (Essential) Evidence of self-motivation, enthusiasm, and flexibility (Essential) Vulnerable Sector Check (Level 3) (Essential)* Bilingual (English/ French) (Preferred) \*Please note you will be represented by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU).
