Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures with precision and care
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vital signs during surgical procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation of all treatments
- Provide client education on pet health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
- Support laboratory work by preparing samples and maintaining equipment cleanliness
Requirements
- Valid registration as a Veterinary Technician with relevant licensing authority or soon to take exam
- Proven laboratory experience with proficiency in diagnostic testing methods
- Strong understanding of veterinary medical procedures and patient care standards
