As an Account Manager, Personal lines a typical day might include: Collaborating and regularly meeting with Account Executive(s) and the BSAA Personal Insurance team to stay abreast of client file status Collaborating with the BSAA Personal Insurance team, proactively obtaining underwriting information from potential and renewal clients Demonstrating and applying an in-depth knowledge of binding authorities, insurer portals, and risk management principles Maintaining a technical and service-oriented relationship with the clients and underwriters Keeping Account Executive(s) up to date on the status of client accounts Providing friendly, professional service to customers and Account Executive(s) Handling routine customer and Account Executive inquiries/concerns in a timely manner and to an agreed upon Practice Group standard Issuing invoices, endorsements, policy documents, etc.

Handling claims, including reporting to insurers, inputting new data, and updating clients on claims status Managing daily administration of accounts, including correspondence; review of policy wordings, and issuance of recent/renewal documentation Working Accounts Receivable lists Ensuring all documentation are accurate and accounts are kept in an orderly manner Training and onboarding new Account Managers Providing friendly,

Working behind the scenes to ensure an exceptional customer experience … YOU know that the customer expects excellence … and so do you! Minimum 5 years’ Personal insurance experience, consistently meeting internal core competencies Active pursuit of CAIB, CIP, CRM, or other insurance designations, considered an asset Post Secondary Degree considered an asset Experience using Epic broker management system an asset From team-building activities to contests and giveaways, holiday parties to virtual/in-person social events, we believe in building connections, knowing that a happy team makes a happy workplace!
