Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Production Manager oversees all mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, and production planning and coordination.

Production Planning

Help draft timescales for each job (projects and assemblies) to ensure that all departments are aligned (PMO, Supply Chain, Engineering, etc.)





- Effective planning and organisation of production resources (people, jobs, material)
- Establish production schedules by assessing deadlines against available workforce and materials
- Ensure production staff has the necessary tools, materials, and training to adequately assemble, test, and prepare machines for shipping in a timely manner and in accordance with our quality standards
- Participate in pre-production, project review, and all other meetings as required
- Develop and ensure compliance with production standards and procedures by enforcing company policies and guidelines
- Collaborate with sales and business services to establish and implement optimal scheduling parameters on behalf of customers
- Recommend and implement current policies and procedures to optimise efficiencies and reduce costs
- Administering personnel functions including recruiting, hiring, review and approval of job descriptions and salary classifications, selection and placement of personnel, performance evaluations and salary adjustments
- Identifying training needs
- Providing leadership in selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of all supply chain and building maintenance functions
- Update department job descriptions based on up-to-date job analysis and department objectives
- Conduct work task prioritizations and continuously monitor employee performance
