Key duties will include conducting microbiological experiments, organizing lab materials, and managing research databases, all while fostering a collaborative and empowering workplace. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct experiments involving microorganism growth
- Assist with molecular biology tasks like DNA extraction and PCR
- Manage daily lab operations and material restocking
- Enter research data according to established protocols
- Support fieldwork and specimen collection activities
Requirements:
- BSc degree in biology or a related field
- Preferred laboratory experience in microbiology or molecular biology
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Ability to solve problems independently
- Understanding of University of Waterloo policies is advantageous
