To learn more about Good Shepherd, visit our website at This opportunity is with our Positive Shepherd - Women's Services Dorothy Day Place The Residential Shift Supervisor will provide both the Housing Support Worker and Residential Support Worker employees with mentorship, support and coordination related to shift responsibilities, and individual client care plans.

The Residential Shift

Supervisor will also be responsible for: Onboarding, orientation and training of new staff Provide ongoing mentorship and coordination to team members to support consistency and quality in all service provision. Provide insight and input, as required, to the performance evaluation process. To maintain the confidentiality policy of Good Shepherd Centers at all times.

Be knowledgeable of all individual care plans, including capacity and support needs.



Completion of post-secondary diploma in social services or equivalent, plus 2 years' work-related experiences required. Understands and utilizes trauma-informed, feminist, client-directed, anti-oppression, anti-racism frameworks with a thorough understanding of a range of issues impacting cis women, transgender and non-binary people, including homelessness, gender-based violence, poverty, mental health and substance use.

Supervision experiences an asset. Continuing education in management an asset. Computer literacy is mandatory.
