Job Summary

Duties

- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, coaching, and developing team members to reach their full potential
- Manage all aspects of retail sales, including customer service, cashiering, and POS (Point of Sale) operations to ensure smooth transactions
- Oversee merchandising strategies to optimize product displays, pricing, and inventory levels in alignment with company standards
- Handle purchasing decisions and vendor negotiations to maintain stock levels and maximize profitability
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase foot traffic and sales performance
- Maintain accurate payroll records, manage budgeting processes, and oversee cash handling procedures with integrity
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and store procedures at all times

Qualifications

- Proven supervising experience in retail management or a related field with demonstrated leadership skills




- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Proficiency in retail sales techniques, merchandising, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
- Experience with recruiting, training & development, and team management to foster a motivated work environment
- Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping, pricing strategies, and administrative tasks such as payroll processing
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong negotiation skills for purchasing and vendor relations; experience in marketing is advantageous
- Multilingual abilities enhance communication with diverse customers; proficiency in math is essential for accurate recordkeeping
