Role Description The Revenue Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Halifax, NS, responsible for overseeing and optimizing revenue performance across the company’s real estate and hospitality portfolio. This role monitors revenue streams, analyzes financial data, and implements strategies to maximize occupancy, rates, and overall profitability. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing revenue reports, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition, collaborating with accounting and finance teams on forecasting and budgeting, and maintaining compliance with relevant standards and policies.

The Revenue





Manager will work closely with operations, sales, and leasing teams to align pricing, contract terms, and promotional initiatives with revenue goals. The position also involves identifying trends, evaluating market conditions, and recommending data-driven improvements to support sustainable growth.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Candidates should possess expertise in revenue management and revenue recognition, with experience developing and implementing strategies to optimize income streams.
- Candidates should possess solid finance and accounting skills, including familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting practices.
- Candidates should possess advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel), and be comfortable working with financial and property management systems.
- Relevant post-secondary education in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; professional designations (e.g., CPA, CFA) are an asset.
- Experience in real estate, hospitality, or mixed-use development environments is highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
