- Document process changes, setpoints, programs, and parameters through established control systems.
- Reduce downtime by executing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
- Identify non-standard operating conditions and communicate them to Production Supervisors for resolution.
- Optimize utilization of tooling, labor, materials, and energy resources.
- Set up, monitor, adjust,
and maintain mechanical and hydraulic presses according to established procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation, throughput, and product quality issues.
- Review process sheets, technical documentation, and assembly information to execute job requirements.
- Perform equipment cleaning, TPM activities, and minor repairs to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Maximize production output through continuous improvement initiatives and process monitoring.
- Provide training and leadership to Production Associates to ensure production and quality requirements are met.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and operational excellence initiatives.
- Support compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Systems. ##
What We’re Looking For:• Post-Secondary Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma, Manufacturing Engineering Technician Diploma, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating and setting up manufacturing equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and results orientation. ## Bonus Points If You Have:• Experience with coining presses.
- Experience working within a Lean Manufacturing environment.
- Experience setting multi-level die sets.
- Familiarity with CNC controls and sequence controls.
