IP Oncology Temporary Unscheduled Part Time Registered Nurse Until Approximately1/30/2028 Location: WRHN @ Midtown (formerly Grand River Hospital, KW Campus) The Oncology nurse will be involved in all aspects of the oncology program, including patient/family assessment, teaching and administering chemotherapy, and providing supportive and palliative care. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the oncology nurse will participate in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans; quality improvement processes and will support education and research initiatives.
Current
Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario Completion of Oncology Foundations Course from the deSouza Institute preferred but enrollment acceptable Completion of Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Oncology Course from deSouza Institute preferred or willing to obtain within 1 year Canadian Nurses Association certification as a Certified Oncology Nurse (CONC)
