Review electrical drawings to interpret for signal lists and develop SCADA graphics Create, populate, and query historians and SQL databases Point to point testing and commissioning of SCADA systems Develop SAT and FAT test plans Must be willing to travel to site for the integration and commissioning of SCADA systems as this is crucial to the learning process. Bachelor’s Degree in computer/electrical/software engineering or Diploma in Software Development.



Fluent with computers and operating systems.

Solid understanding of computer networking and firewall/routing requirements Experienced with python, C, VB or other scripting languages Experienced with TCP/IP, Modbus, DNP, OPC, SQL Familiar with authentication servers, virtual machines and various operating system configurations Experienced with database design and interfacing Experienced with field level system integration, troubleshooting and commissioning Experience with any of the following would be considered an asset: High voltage experience for electric utilities, renewables and oil and gas. Ethernet and IP networks, and serial communication.

Microsoft

Excel including custom macros. Vendor knowledge for any of GE Energy/Harris, Cooper Power Systems, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, SUBNET Solutions, ABB, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Belden, and Trihedral (VTScada). Protocol analyzers such as ASE2000 test set. Communication troubleshooting software such as WireShark. Paid vacation time
