Waterloo Region District School

Board is seeking Technological Education Teachers for the Secondary Occasional Teacher Roster (Grades 9-12). In Ontario, you must be certified by the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) to teach in the province’s publicly funded schools. Teachers with an OCT Certificate of Qualification and Registration (CQR) Teachers with an OCT Transitional Certificate (TCQR) or Multi-Session Transitional Certificate (MTCQR) Students currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Education (or equivalent) program who have successfully completed at least two practicum placements and are within 1 year of their expected graduation date.

Teaching

Qualifications in Grades 9 and 10 and Grades 11 and 12, or will have these qualifications upon graduation from a Bachelor of Education (or equivalent) program At least one Technological Education qualification in any of the following areas: Communications, Computer, Construction, Green Industries, Hair Styling and Aesthetics, Health Care, Hospitality and Tourism, Manufacturing, Technological Design, and Transportation.
