Department / Unit: Renal Health Clinic HSC Clinical Support Reason for Term: Maternity Leave Anticipated Shift: Days Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Previous related work experience preferred.
Current hospital-based information systems/programs; Successful completion of a recognized Unit Clerk training program required. Medical terminology (75% pass mark) required. Excellent command of the English language (both oral and written).
Ability to operate information technology equipment as required, e.g. fax, photocopier, computer, etc.
Preference will be given to candidates competent in an Aboriginal language and/or knowledgeable in Aboriginal customs, beliefs, and practices. We have a unique ability to work together to make health care better.
