Duties

- Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security breaches or hazards
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies with appropriate action and communication with emergency responders when necessary
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting findings accurately
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure thorough documentation




- Collaborate with law enforcement or other authorities during investigations or incident responses as needed

Requirements

- Proven experience in law enforcement, security operations, or related fields is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV systems operation
- Ability to perform physical patrols that require standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail in identifying suspicious behavior or security risks
- Effective communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
- Ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations while making quick decisions
- Certification in security or relevant training is preferred; willingness to obtain necessary licenses where applicable
