Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant- Contractor for a 6-12 month contract. Based in their Southeast Calgary office, this role will support financial operations, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This position offers a hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 day remote), free in office parking, and optional chef-prepared lunches.

Manage full-cycle accounting, including journal entry preparation, review, and posting Monitor, analyze, and reconcile project costs and operating expenses Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies S. dollar functional currency accounting, including foreign exchange and currency translation requirements Ensure IFRS and US GAAP compliance through financial analysis, technical accounting research, and audit support Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA designation is an asset
