We are seeking a skilled and curious Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Finance Department.

This role is a key member of the Group Accounting team, responsible for the financial operations across all subsidiaries within the BlueCat group. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, the ideal candidate brings solid technical accounting expertise, a self-directed approach to problem-solving, and genuine interest in using modern tools, including AI, to drive process improvements. University degree in Accounting Minimum 4 years of experience in an Accounting role, including GL ownership and reconciliations CPA or similar designation preferred - 1 year post-qualified minimum,



audit background desirable Excellent Excel skills and comfort learning new systems (NetSuite experience strongly preferred) Proven track record of GL clean up and process improvements Genuine interest in using AI tools to automate routine work and sharpen analysis Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close, including but not limited to fixed assets, inventory, prepaid expenses, and accruals.

Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations with supporting subledger maintenance and tie-outs Investigate and resolve outstanding GL and subledger discrepancies, including legacy acquisition-related entries Review financial data for accuracy; Assist in ad-hoc reporting and projects Support the annual audit by preparing supporting schedules and selection support, as well as any tax support requested Assist in identifying areas for process improvements including process automation and participate in the implementation of those improvements (including UAT) This position offers a salary range of $95,000 - $108,000 CAD per year plus participation in a discretionary bonus plan.
