Title: Senior Accountant Contract: Permanent Hours: Regular, 37.5 hours (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri) Location: Park Royal Office, West Vancouver – on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations - Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.

As Senior

Accountant, you will prepare corporate financial statements, reports, month-end close schedules, and audit working papers, while managing bank reconciliations, cash forecasting, and financial records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effective financial operations. Chartered Professional

Accountant (CPA) designation. ~Experience with funding agreements and not-for-profit accounting preferred. ~ Proven experience with project management responsibility that incorporate cross-functional or cross organizational influence.

Experience (ASSET) Experience working with BC First Nations organizations in a financial capacity is an asset. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated customer focus and ability to work with multiple stakeholders. Solid business acumen in financial and business processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, including the use of technology.

Municipal

The Pay

Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
