The Senior

Accountant, New Operations will provide in-depth financial statement review, analysis, account reconciliations and support across finance divisions, with an opportunity to contribute to business growth and continuous improvement across new business sectors. Reconcile corporate general ledger accounts, investigate reconciling items and work cross-functionally to ensure appropriate accounting under ASPE. Partner with accounting, treasury, financial planning and analysis,



operations and other finance departments to streamline processes, improve efficiency and strengthen performance.

Document accounting processes and policies to guide the financial reporting team. Assist with annual audited financial statements and liaise with auditors to address queries. respond to ad hoc projects related to business growth. CPA designation or near completion of the CPA program coupled with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Accounting experience in public practice or a comparable corporate role is a strong asset. Robust computer literacy and advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Thorough technical knowledge of Accounting Standards.

Experience with Yardi software is considered an asset. Passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
