What is the opportunity?
The Analyst, Investor Services (IS) Finance – Revenue will support Performance Management Activities and Business Advisory for Investor Services Balance Sheet and Revenue reporting.
What you will do?
- Support the production of consolidated IS Revenue Forecast & Planning and monthly financials, including intra-month estimates and Revenue related deliverables for WM Platform.
- Collaborate with IS Business, Corporate Treasury, and Enterprise Finance teams to support analysis and develop understanding of revenue and balance sheet results with clear commentary.
- Assist with the maintenance and enhancement of revenue and balance sheet financial models to support strategic and regulatory reviews including enterprise-wide stress testing.
- Prepare monthly revenue business advisory analysis and reporting as part of IS consolidated Operating results, including relevant metrics; and support end-to-end transparency of reported information.
- Support trend analysis to facilitate discussions on risks and opportunities; and provide analytical support to IS leadership on financial targets and investment decisions.
- Work with IS teams to support an environment of financial discipline, transparency, and accountability.
- Collaborate with Financial Controls team to support effective controls and governance oversight over monthly close, P&L; analysis, balance sheet review and attestation, financial disclosures.
- Support process improvement initiatives, identify opportunities to standardize and automate reporting to enable value-add analysis and insights.
- Address ad-hoc requests as applicable to IS Revenue in a timely manner.
What you need to succeed?
Must Have
- 1-3 years of experience in finance with exposure to business planning process
- Robust proficiency in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and relationship building
- Self-motivated – ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Solid business acumen, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work with multiple data sources and translate data/analysis into clear insights
- Effective communication and presentation skills
Nice to Have
- CPA or similar financial designation in progress, or relevant Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
- Familiarity with RBC financial systems such as EPM, SAP and Peoplesoft
- Exposure to financial modelling and transfer pricing revenue
