Work closely with the Project Engineering Team providing technical and design support to determine the best solutions to specific customer needs. Support new product line design and development. Execute on all customer orders.

Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, industry standards, customer requirements and related specifications. Provide engineering production support to machining, welding, assembly and other departments. Provide technical support for field service, the customer, sales and manufacturing.

Together with the quality department, troubleshoot quality issues as it pertains to material rejects, material review, warrantee issues and custom engineering requirements. Provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff on technical issues, corporate policies, project management, and divisional objectives. Ensuring compliance with safety principles applicable to the project.

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or technical institute Six on more years in product design experience. Proficient with 3D modeling and drafting with Creo or SolidWorks Experienced in the use of ANSI,



ASME and ISO drafting techniques and geometric tolerances Solid experience with stress analysis Strong knowledge of the development and control of design documentation Proficient in writing technical reports and related documents Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables and situations where only limited standards exist Field installation experience would be an asset are privately owned and operated Canadian manufacturers of wellhead, production gate valve and check valve equipment, as well as chokes, specialty control valves and supporting actuation.
