The Senior Development
Officer will plan, implement, manage and optimize a comprehensive Communications to support the development of fundraising activities related to national marketing The Senior Development Officer reports to the Director of External Relations and works closely and collaboratively with all the teams across the Foundation. Plan, manage and coordinate annual fundraising initiatives (print and digital) include special requests, holiday appeal, monthly giving, In Memoriam/In Tribute giving, as well as marketing campaigns with special donation requests. Develop and manage a donor Welcome Program to build donor data base.
Create and manage revenue and expense budgets for campaigns and annual projects. Approach all work using a donor-centred philosophy including all solicitation and donor relations materials. Contribute to the development and management of the Foundation’s donor relations programs including acknowledgements, stewardship and recognition.
Develop, review, edit and manage print and digital content development using donorcentred practices to enhance revenue. Contribute to the planning and development of bi-annual donor Foundation newsletter. Monitor and analyze annual giving and donor engagement performance, leveraging data, analytics and emerging technologies to identify trends, test, learn and continuously to inform future strategies.
Develop and implement strategies that move donors through the pipeline and annually Using organizational KPIs, monitor and report on performance metrics. Collaborate with Manager, Database Operations & Strategy to pull accurate and segmented listing and maintain accurate donor records,
appeal and campaign reporting as well as annual growth and retention rates. Identify and cultivate suppliers and partners in support of the Foundation’s goals.
Serve as a member of the fundraising and External Relations team to advance all Foundation initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned to support the Foundation’s priorities and operations.
Attend
Foundation events as required and serves as a key ambassador for the organization. Model and promote the principles of the Foundation’s Collaboration Charter in all interactions, decisions, and working relationships.
Performance Outcomes: Plans progressively increase donor database and revenue. Creative and effective fundraising approaches lead to improved donor Plans and content development improve brand awareness nationally. University degree in communications, marketing, business or arts and humanities, a CFRE an asset. ~Proven experience planning, managing and executing fundraising campaign. ~ Demonstrated experience with analytics, testing and segmentation. ~ Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and reporting to ~ Creative, inquisitive, and robust communication (writing) skills using a donor-centred approach. ~ Superb project management, process development and logistical planning skills. ~ Proficiency with CRM systems, (Raiser’s Edge & AKA Raisin) digital marketing tools and analytics platforms. ~ Why Join Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada?
