Engineering The Electronic Attack Systems Analyst will be responsible for developing electronic attack mission libraries for the Royal Canadian Navy at the Naval Electronic Warfare Centre (NEWC) in Ottawa, Canada.

The Electronic Attack Systems

Analyst will be embedded at NEWC to develop engagement models as part of the Ship Anti-Air Defense Model (SADM) and to use other modeling and simulation tools to create and test mission libraries. Engagement models can include the ship, environment, sensors (radar, optoelectronics and infrared), electronic attack assets (chaff, decoys and jammers) as well as threat systems.

Analyst will also be responsible for documentation as well as verification and validation of digital models. Perform technical analysis and research in unclassified and classified documents on system parameters and behaviors Conduct simulated combat between different entities (ship, threat systems) Perform analysis and verification activities to confirm system model behaviors A bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics or engineering related to the position with ten years of professional experience or a master's degree with seven years of experience Experience in radar system design, and radar signal processing and analysis Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance Electronic warfare system design and analysis Application of electronic attack and electronic protection concepts and systems Electronic support measures design and analysis Antenna design and analysis Use of guided weapon systems (autopilots, tracking, guidance, navigation and control) In addition to working in a highly supportive, friendly and respectful environment, here's what you can expect when you join our team as a regular full time employee: Flexible and compressed work schedules, depending on business needs, where you have the option of taking Fridays off, as well as the possibility of working remotely part-time Time to recover with vacation, personal days, holidays and parental leave Full family coverage for medical,
