Provide Companionship: Spend time with clients to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation. Engage in conversations, hobbies, or activities that foster emotional well‑being Plan and Engage in Recreational Activities: Organize and participate in fun, stimulating activities that clients enjoy, such as reading, playing games, going for walks, or doing puzzles Offer assistance with transportation to appointments, errands, or social events,



ensuring safety and comfort during travel Monitor Client’s Well-Being: Keep an eye on the client’s emotional and physical health and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare providers Assist with Pet Care: Help clients care for their pets, such as feeding, walking, or grooming if applicable Document and Report Care: Keep track of activities and care provided, and document any notable changes or concerns for caregivers or family members A genuine desire to help and care for others, especially seniors, and a strong sense of empathy Willingness to Learn: Openness to ongoing training and the ability to learn new skills to better serve the needs of clients Good Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients, their families, and other team members, both verbally and in writing Valid Class 5 Driver's License (preferred) or Valid Class 7 Driver's License in good standing Negative TB test completed in the past 90 days A negative Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check issued in the past 90 days Certification in CPR and First Aid (preferred) Valid work permit and/or Social Insurance Number Flexible Schedule ~ Paid Training and Development ~ Schedule: Casual/Part time Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Night shift
