Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and qualified first impression
- Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems like Micros POS, ensuring smooth seating flow
- Coordinate with the service team to optimize table assignments and minimize wait times
- Assist guests with inquiries about menus, specials, and restaurant amenities using excellent phone etiquette
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable
- Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction
- Support the team during busy periods by managing waiting lists and communicating wait times clearly
- Uphold high standards of hospitality,

Qualifications

- Proven experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality roles within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, including familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food service operations and hotel experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience with food service or hospitality industry standards is highly desirable
