Group is seeking a Senior IT Security TRA & C&A; Analyst to support a Government of Canada consulting engagement. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and hands-on support for Security Assessment & Authorization (SA&A;), Threat and Risk Assessments (TRAs), Certification & Accreditation (C&A;), and ITSG-33 security activities. This role requires extensive Government of Canada IT security experience and the ability to develop security documentation, assess risks, evaluate controls, and support security authorization processes within Protected B and Secret environments.

Develop security documentation supporting SA&A; activities in accordance with ITSG-33 and CSE guidance.

Conduct

Threat and Risk Assessments (TRAs) and develop associated documentation.

Prepare Security Certification

Plans, security control profiles, security requirements, and related security artifacts.

Perform Security

Testing & Evaluation (ST&E;) activities. Assess security controls, vulnerabilities, safeguards, and residual risks. Support certification, accreditation, and security authorization processes. Develop security architectures,



Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), and Security Requirements Definitions.

Develop IT security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines. Provide security advisory services based on Government of Canada security standards and best practices. Provide coaching and guidance on TRA, C&A;, and SA&A; methodologies.

Valid

Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance. Senior-level experience as an IT Security TRA & C&A; / SA&A; Analyst.

Experience supporting Government of Canada IT security initiatives. Proven experience conducting Threat and Risk Assessments and security assessments.

Experience developing security controls, risk assessments, and security documentation. Strong knowledge of CSE and Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) security policies, standards, and frameworks.

Experience performing ST&E;, vulnerability assessments, and risk assessments.

Experience developing security architectures. Work from home arrangement within Canada. Opportunity to contribute to complex Government of Canada IT security initiatives. Long-term 12-month contract opportunity with potential for extension.
