He or she works on the most complex files requiring a higher degree of knowledge, and experience including: construction, corporate financing, special accounts, business restructuring unit, loans over $10M, boat, aircraft and syndication files. He or she works in close collaboration with the external solicitor, the client, the underwriter, the business development lead, other financial partners and the authorizer to ensure that disbursements respect the Bank’s procedures and that they are completed in the most efficient manner possible to ensure excellent customer service. Improve streamlining and efficiency while managing risk, recommending enhancements to policies, guidelines, procedures, practices, processes, and other manuals or tools and provide leadership in their development and implementation Play an active role as a change agent,

Perform due diligence mainly on loans with Level of Analysis 3 in an efficient manner while ensuring adherence to the parameters of accepted credit practices and BDC policies and procedures. Authorize, decline or recommend disbursements, within the established parameters, and ensure a high caliber of analysis and due diligence. Mandate, instruct and ensure support with solicitor, co-ordinate disbursement with other financial partners Capacity to identify and foresee any problems that the file presents and to propose adapted solutions to ensure overall risk is evaluated correctly Evaluate amendment service requests and offer proactive solutions to restructure agreements, minimize risk and mitigate losses in collaboration with Credit, Business Centres, and other internal colleagues.
