The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management is responsible for strategic design and operations of supply chain processes across e-commerce fulfillment networks, ensuring effective flow, inventory health, and online availability. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize delivery, manage costs, and drive continuous improvement.
The Senior
Manager, Supply Chain Management leads the planning and execution of supply chain strategies. This position focuses on optimizing delivery networks, including fulfillment centre operations, improving efficiency, and ensuring best-in-class delivery experiences. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as finance, merchandising, and operations, is essential in developing and executing these strategies, while representing the Replenishment teams in strategic decisions.
This role also drives business opportunities by identifying and assessing program feasibility, evaluating financial and physical performance, and implementing best practices from the industry.
The Senior
Manager may act as a subject matter expert, providing insights and developing benchmarking initiatives to enhance supply chain processes, including inventory health monitoring, identifying aging, misaligned, overstocked, or non-productive inventory and partnering with commercial, replenishment, and operations owners to drive it to resolution while balancing financial and operational impact to the supply chain network. Additionally, this role supports system solutions for new features and platform transitions, working with product and engineering teams to address critical business issues such as fulfillment node optimization and multi-site channeling capability.
The Senior
Manager is responsible for developing and managing budgets, business cases for strategic projects,
and coaching teams that manage fulfillment channels for the e-commerce customer. Ensuring the smooth flow of goods involves working collaboratively with various teams to resolve capacity constraints, develop mitigation activities, and guide executive team members through major decisions, including peak-season and promotional-event capacity planning, coordinating volume and inventory shifts across fulfillment sites as needed. This role may also oversee planning and execution for large promotional events and handle complex stakeholder relationships to drive continuous improvement in supply chain management.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
- MBA preferred. ~5+ years of progressive supply chain, logistics, or operations experience, including exposure to ecommerce strategy ~ Demonstrated experience managing inventory health programs and driving cross-functional resolution with merchant, replenishment, and operations partners ~ Experience supporting or leading system/platform transitions and process changes across supply chain technology tools ~ Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority ~ Experience with peak-season/promotional-event planning and capacity management across a multi-site network preferred ~ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills,
with the ability to translate operational detail into executive-level insight drives a positive associate and customer experience for all
