MacLean Engineering is looking to add a Product Analyst to the existing skills of our Product Management team. Do you have the knack for mechanical systems? Do you have a good sense for business, and can you relate to end customers?

Can you work with basic Microsoft office tools like PowerPoint and excel? As a Product Analyst, you will be participating in a wide variety of activities within MacLean’s products. You will help generate marketing content, keep an eye on costs, assist and support sales projects from pre-sales activities to post delivery activities and occasionally be asked to provide same duties to other product groups.

Funnel data and marketing material to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the sales process. Provide product demonstrations to potential customers. Develop content for sales proposals & develop sales training material for sales personnel.

Gather customer feedback and performance data to ensure that product performance and specifications meet customer requirements. Develop spare parts recommendations for customer use. Travel, both domestic and internationally, is a requirement of this position.

Visit key customers in conjunction with the sales team to provide in-depth product knowledge. Stay current on industry developments, competitive offerings and issues affecting sales and customers. Take responsibility for personal development and enhancement of skills High level of computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office Excellent written and verbal communication skills, need to be able to positively represent MacLean when talking to customers Bilingualism is an asset (French and/or other languages are desirable) Founded in 1973 in Ontario, Canada, MacLean Engineering is the world’s largest Canadian-based manufacturer of underground mining equipment.
