Senior Program Manager – Finance Modernization

About the opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead delivery of a new Finance Data Platform and ERP solution built on SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) and S/4HANA General Ledger.

You'll plan and drive multiple interdependent workstreams. You'll bring structure to complex, ambiguous problems and keep the program on time, on budget, and aligned with enterprise goals. This is a highly visible role. You'll work closely with Finance, CFO Group, and Technology & Operations leaders, as well as external vendors.

What you'll do

- Lead planning, delivery, and implementation so enterprise strategic objectives are met within approved scope, timeline, and budget.
- Lead the team and act as the main liaison with business partners, service partners, and third-party vendors.
- Provide guidance through general and detailed planning, keeping all workstreams cohesive and aligned with organizational goals.
- Build and maintain large integrated program schedules in MS Project, establish cross-workstream dependencies, and drive resolution of schedule variances.
- Manage program financials against approved funding. This includes resource forecasting, invoice validation against contracts, and financial reporting.
- Translate the initiative's vision into clear scope, design, and executable plans, and help define and track program goals.




- Create clarity out of ambiguity and focus the team on the highest-value work.
- Facilitate agile delivery practices, including sprint execution, backlog grooming, and ceremonies.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with business, CFO, and T&O; stakeholders, and deliver a superior client experience.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and action items, assign owners, and drive mitigation plans to closure.
- Lead weekly and monthly reporting to senior management and executives, in line with the program governance model.
- Gather stakeholder input to develop detailed project and implementation plans.

What you bring

- Undergraduate degree and a proven track record running technology programs with high request volume and competing priorities.
- Strong command of PM tools: JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Excel (analysis and reporting), and PowerPoint (working groups and executive updates).
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor communication to technical and business audiences.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with hands-on experience in agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery.




- A strategic mindset and the interpersonal skills to work across technical functions and business units.
- Experience in a matrixed setting, ideally at a large, publicly traded financial services organization.

Nice to have

- Knowledge of subledger and general ledger technology, ideally SAP FPSL and S/4HANA.
- Experience delivering Finance ERP and/or finance data platform implementations.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or other relevant certifications.
- Familiarity with enterprise GenAI tools and AI-enabled SDLC practices.

Pay: $80.00-$120.00 per hour
