As a key member of the Underwriting team at Coalition, you will be responsible for developing scalable backend services that streamline cybersecurity insurance processes. Your role requires a strong technical foundation in Python and Go, combined with experience in statistical models and machine learning. Collaborate closely with underwriters and data scientists to automate workflows and improve risk assessment methodologies, impacting how businesses manage digital risks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement backend services in Python and/or Go • Integrate machine learning models for risk assessment • Create dashboards for operational visibility and incident response • Write clean, tested code to ensure quality • Lead medium-to-large engineering projects collaboratively
Requirements: • Strong backend programming experience in Python and/or Go • Familiarity with REST and gRPC or GraphQL • Knowledge of AWS or similar cloud environments • Experience with observability tools like Datadog • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
