Knight & Rose Café is a premium café and lounge in Streetsville, and we're looking for an experienced, dependable Café Server / Barista to join our team.

This is a hands-on position. We're looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of a shift—not someone who needs to be continuously told what to do.

You will be responsible for providing attentive guest service, preparing drinks consistently, maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of the café, processing orders, and helping ensure the entire guest experience meets Knight & Rose standards.

What You'll Be Doing

- Welcome guests, take orders and provide attentive table service
- Prepare coffee, espresso-based drinks, matcha, chai, milkshakes and specialty beverages
- Serve desserts and other menu items
- Learn our recipes and consistently follow preparation and presentation standards
- Use the POS system and process payments accurately
- Recommend menu items and confidently answer guest questions
- Maintain clean tables, service areas, equipment and guest spaces throughout your shift
- Restock products and supplies before they run out
- Complete opening and closing responsibilities
- Prioritize multiple orders and tables during busy periods
- Identify tasks that need attention without waiting for a manager to tell you
- Assist with other café and guest-service responsibilities as required

Who We're Looking For Previous restaurant, café, barista or table-service experience is strongly preferred.

We're especially interested in candidates who are:

- Reliable and consistently punctual




- Friendly, confident and comfortable speaking with guests
- Detail-oriented about cleanliness and presentation
- Able to remain organized during busy periods
- Comfortable working independently after training
- Able to learn recipes and follow standards consistently
- Proactive and willing to take ownership of their shift
- Comfortable with evening and weekend work
- Skilled in both communication and presentation

Experience preparing espresso beverages is an asset but training can be provided to the right candidate.

Availability

Consistent evening and weekend availability is required for this position.
