Swing City Indoor Golf Lounge is the Comox Valley’s premier upscale sports entertainment venue. Featuring state-of-the-art Trackman IO golf simulators, a fully licensed bar, and a premium lounge menu, we provide an exceptional, tech-driven hospitality experience. As we head into our peak fall and winter season, our bookings and private events are ramping up! We are looking for dynamic, customer-focused individuals to join our front-of-house team.

Position Overview

This unique role blends high-quality food and beverage table service with interactive guest entertainment. You will be responsible for ensuring guests are seamlessly set up on our simulators while providing attentive, enthusiastic service from our menu.

Key Responsibilities

- Guest Greeting & Tech Setup: Welcome guests, escort them to their assigned simulator bays, and set up the Trackman IO simulator software.
- Simulator Guidance: Explain basic simulator rules, guide guests through available game modes/world courses, and troubleshoot minor technical questions.
- Table & Lounge Service: Take accurate food and beverage orders, deliver crafted meals, snacks, and alcoholic drinks directly to bay tables.
- Drink Preparation: Bartending skills are a valuable asset.
- POS Operation: Manage guest bills, process payments, and efficiently operate our digital Point of Sale system.
- Bay Turnover & Maintenance: Clear tables,



sanitize golf clubs, and ensure simulator bays are immaculate and reset quickly between bookings.
- Event Support: Assist with the execution of corporate gatherings, private parties, and community golf tournaments.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Tech & POS Experience: Direct experience using TouchBistro POS is highly preferred.
- Golf Familiarity: A basic understanding of golf (rules, equipment, and general lingo) is a massive asset so you can easily engage with both pros and casual players.
- Flexible Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holiday periods to support our busy event calendar.
- Hospitality Certifications: Valid Serving It Right (SIR) certification is mandatory.
- Customer Service Excellence: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a vibrant, outgoing energy.
- Fast-Paced Capability: Ability to remain organized and multi-task efficiently during high-volume peak hours.
