Service Coordinator (Temporary Full Time) Traverse Independence primarily supports individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABI) to live independently in the community. Adult day programs Services for individuals experiencing homelessness Mainstream outreach in clients' homes Supportive housing As a Service Coordinator you will be responsible for the daily supervision, delivery, and evaluation of client programs and services. You will also assume responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of all direct reports and will collaborate with the program manager, addressing client or staff issues in a timely manner or escalating critical incidents.

Directly supervise front-line staff through coaching, team building, performance reviews, and performance management. Embrace diversity and inclusion with a focus on Indigenous culture Oversee and evaluate operations through data collection and analysis. Elevate high-risk priority incidents or longstanding concerns to supervisor Follow policies, procedures, and processes diligently and ensure compliance at program site Capably use a fully integrated SharePoint and O365 workplace.

Support the health and safety of both staff and clients. Ensure eligible clients have current assessments, documentation, and service plans.



Ensure integration with other sectors and workers involved in the client care team to support wrap-around services for clients.

Work within an ethical framework, risk management system, and quality improvement philosophy.

Community College

Diploma in Recreation/Leisure, Social Services, Healthcare, or other related discipline A minimum of 2 years' experience in social services or healthcare with at least 1 year supervising or leading a team Experience in the mental health and/or addiction is an asset Demonstrated experience in behaviour management programs Comprehensive knowledge and experience working in a SharePoint environment, including Microsoft 365 Teams (GoldCare experience a benefit, but not necessary) Experience working with persons with disabilities and/or acquired brain injuries Understanding of community resources along with issues that relate to substance use, mental health, and brain injury Travel will be required.
