Salary: $115,000 to $140,000 CAD / year (dependent on experience) JFE Shoji Power Canada (JSC) is an electrical steel products manufacturer located in Burlington, Ontario. The Business Development
Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through the development, expansion, and retention of long-term client relationships. This role manages complex, long-cycle B2B sales engagements within a technical manufacturing environment,
acting as a strategic partner to clients rather than a transactional seller.

Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and expand strong long-term relationships with assigned clients. o Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for clients within assigned accounts.
Revenue Growth & Account Development: o Drive revenue growth through new business development and expansion of existing accounts. Identify opportunities for increased share of wallet and long-term partnerships.
o Lead strategic account planning for assigned clients.
Sales Strategy & Commercial Leadership: Develop and execute account-level commercial strategies aligned with overall sales objectives. Lead pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and long-term agreements. Maintain an accurate and current sales pipeline within the CRM system.
Identify risks and opportunities within the pipeline and elevate as needed. Partner with Sales Manager, Sales Delivery Manager, CES, and Operations to ensure client commitments are aligned with internal capabilities. Lead development of client proposals and commercial inputs.
Support resolution of client issues and escalations in collaboration with Sales Delivery Manager. Monitor client activity, market trends, and competitive dynamics. Provide insights to support sales strategy, pricing decisions, and product positioning.
Adhere to sales processes, tools, and reporting requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in B2B sales within manufacturing, engineered products, automation, or custom solutions environments. Proven success managing long-cycle, relationship-driven sales engagements. Strong commercial judgment, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage complex client relationships across multiple stakeholders. This role operates primarily in an office environment with regular travel to client sites as required. Flexibility is expected to support client needs, internal coordination, and sales activities.
The role requires strong relationship management, organization, and long-term focus.
