Join ONWA as a Brief Services Worker, providing vital support to Indigenous women. Employ your skills to facilitate access to essential services in a trauma-informed setting. As part of the Ontario Native Women’s Association, you'll work directly with Indigenous women, focusing on short-term supports and holistic care.

Your experience with trauma, mental health, and crisis intervention will be crucial in guiding clients towards healing and wellness. This position values community connections and culturally appropriate practices. Key Responsibilities:

- Assess client needs and coordinate service access
- Establish connections with community support services
- Deliver trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care
- Address both immediate and historical trauma needs
- Facilitate referrals to various supportive programs Requirements:
- Minimum degree in Social Work or related fields
- 3 years working in crisis and family-focused care
- In-depth understanding of Indigenous issues and advocacy
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Valid license and transportation availability Utilize your passion for community service and advocacy to empower Indigenous women through your role at ONWA.
