The Service Writer is the main point of contact for workingwith the Service Manager and shop on all work orders and administrative dutiesthat support the Service Department. TheService Writer is responsible for the safe, effective, clean, organized, andprofessional performance of Service Department administrative functions at alltimes. Work Order & Administrative Support Prepare work orders for the Service Manager's, Supervisor's,or Manager's review and approval.

Participate in the administrative duties of the Service Department — field, shop internal, and warranty — as assigned. Help achieve Work In Progress targets and close work ordersafter authorization from the Manager or Supervisor.

Maintain Service

Department filing and ensure records areorganized and accessible. Prepare and file warranty claims for respective OEMs. Answer calls coming into the Service Department. Participate in the development and implementation of acustomer-focused service philosophy within the department.

Participate in increasing revenues and customer servicelevels by helping improve service operation administrative processes.



Assist in dispatching technicians in the absence of theService Manager or Supervisor. Enter time for payroll, have it reviewed by the Manager orSupervisor, and submit it to payroll on time.

Experience in Agricultural or similar industry an asset Robust customer service skills, both on the phone and inperson. Good knowledge of financials to assist with customer accountissues.
