We are seeking an experienced and skilled Sheet Metal Supervisor/Journeyperson to lead and oversee sheet metal installation on construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive technical knowledge, and a solid background in construction management and safety protocols.
Duties
- Lead and supervise sheet metal installation on various construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor safety and enforce safety protocols among team members.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to project progress, safety reports, and quality assurance.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson in sheet metal work with a strong background in construction.
- Supervisory or management experience overseeing a construction setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, project scheduling, and contract administration.
