Hawk Custom Sheet Metal is hiring! We are expanding and looking for skilled, motivated, and safety-conscious 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Year Apprentices as well as Journeyperson Sheet Metal Workers to join our team across Commercial, Industrial, and Custom fabrication/installation departments in the Red Deer area.
Whether you are progressing through your apprenticeship or bring years of ticketed experience, if you have solid commercial HVAC installation skills, a strong work ethic, and pride in your trade, we want to hear from you.
What We Offer (Pay, Hiring Bonuses & Benefits):
Competitive Wages: $26.00 – $40.00 / hour (commensurate with apprenticeship level, experience, and position).
Hiring & Retention Bonuses:
Journeypersons: $500 Signing Bonus + $500 Bonus upon completing the 90-day probationary period ($1,000 total).
Apprentices: $250 Signing Bonus + $250 Bonus upon completing the 90-day probationary period ($500 total).
Overtime & Paid Travel Time.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform commercial, industrial, and custom HVAC sheet metal fabrication and/or field installations.
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and installation specs.
Install ductwork, air distribution equipment, dampers, and related sheet metal assemblies.
Maintain high standards of quality and strictly adhere to company and job-site safety protocols.
Requirements:
Trade Level: Registered 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Year Apprentice (Alberta AIT) OR Journeyperson Sheet Metal Worker (AIT Ticket / Red Seal).
Experience: Experience in commercial HVAC installation and/or custom sheet metal work.
Licensing: MUST HAVE Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Work Location: In-person (Red Deer & surrounding project sites).
