Duties

- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow during your shift
- Lead, motivate, and manage team members to deliver excellent customer service and uphold food safety standards
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency
- Handle cash transactions, including POS (Point of Sale) system operations like Micros POS, accurately managing cash handling procedures
- Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new staff members to build a robust team
- Monitor food handling practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety protocols
- Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
- Train team members on food service techniques, restaurant policies, and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness, organization,



and safety standards throughout the restaurant environment
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs

Qualifications

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Supervising or team management experience in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cash handling and order processing
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles preferred but not required
- Ability to perform kitchen tasks such as food prep, cooking, bartending or barista duties is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
