Project: North Mine Rotation: 7 days on 7 days off Shift Length: 10.5 Salary Range: $73,000 - $123,000/annum, range is variable and dependent on overtime worked and production bonus paid Advantages: Redpath offers comprehensive benefits including but not limited to health, dental and vision care, life insurance, pension and employee assistance program Drug Test The primary role of the Construction Miner is to perform such work as shotcreting, building refuge stations, vent walls, crusher stations, muck bins, conveyor installation, timber and concrete work, sump installations, the installation of vent tubing (soft, steel and mecanicad vent) Install air, water and discharge lines, other construction work and maintenance jobs as required. Inspect existing underground headings Knowledge of construction methods in the mining environment Operate, pneumatic hand-held drills and various other construction tools Use of rubber-tired underground mobile equipment such as LHD (Load-Haul-Dump) units, scissor trucks, Boom trucks, shotcrete sprayers and other support vehicles Follow established regulatory, company, and client rules and regulations Responsible to ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment required in the performance of the work.



Comply with the Act and Mining Regulations that apply to the work area High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Work Experience ~2 years' experience in a related construction role ~ Ontario Hard Rock Underground Common Core - Full Basic (or other provincial equivalent) ~ Basic Knowledge of the mining industry Ability to read, review and understand Standard Work Procedures, safety programs and applicable mine regulations Basic understanding and ability to read civil prints and or construction prints offering a high level of service to the mining industry, which exceeds current standards and provides challenge for its employees.
