While small in size, we take pride in providing exceptional services to approximately 325 residential lawn clients and 130 snow removal clients. As a Snow Removal Technician, you will be assigned a set route of residential properties. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely and efficient snow clearing at these locations whenever there is a snowfall. This position requires an individual who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a variety of weather conditions, ranging from extreme cold to heavy snowfall.
You will be provided with a vehicle and all necessary equipment, including a backpack blower,
snow blower, and shovels/scrapers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clearing snow from assigned residential properties following snowfall
- Ensuring all areas are cleared to meet company and client expectations
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring it is in working order
- Reporting any issues or concerns to management in a timely manner
Compensation:
- Starting pay: $20-25/hr
- Minimum guaranteed bi-weekly salary, dependent on snow conditions
- Daytime hours only (no night shifts)
- Snow removal is weather-dependent, so on-call flexibility is required
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a CLEAN driver’s abstract
- A MINIMUM of 3 years of consecutive, clean insurance history in Canada
- Reliable self-transportation to work (in the West End)
- Physically capable of performing job duties, including shoveling, operating a snow blower, and other manual tasks
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
