WHY THIS ROLE IS OPEN

We are growing our digital presence and need someone who can own our social channels from strategy through execution. You will shape how our brand shows up online, build genuine community, and connect our content to real business outcomes. This role is fully remote and open to candidates in the Calgary area.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Content Creation

- Develop and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and emerging platforms
- Write captions, scripts, and copy that match brand voice and platform norms
- Shoot or coordinate photo and short-form video assets
- Design graphics using Canva or similar tools

Strategy & Growth

- Build and maintain a content calendar aligned with campaigns and business goals
- Research trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to inform direction
- Test formats and posting times, then double down on what performs
- Grow follower bases organically and through paid support

Community & Engagement

- Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, on-brand way
- Foster conversation and manage sensitive interactions with care
- Identify and engage with relevant creators, partners, and communities

Analytics & Reporting





- Track reach, engagement, click-through, and conversion metrics
- Prepare regular performance reports with clear recommendations
- Translate data into actionable adjustments

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

- A background in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing
- A portfolio or examples of accounts you have managed
- Solid writing and editing skills
- Proficiency with scheduling tools and analytics dashboards
- Comfort with short-form video editing
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet home workspace
- Authorization to work in Canada
