: The Senior Social Worker is an experienced clinician who may provide supervision and coaching within acute care in the Women's and Children's Team, reporting directly to a Women's and Children's Team Manager. The position requires the use of high order knowledge, clinical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to assess and support clients and/or to coach, mentor, orientate and provide education to an assigned team in Women's and Children. Drawing on standards of practice for case management; skilled codes of ethics; social work standards of practice in health care; program policy and procedures; and, relevant legislation, the senior social worker provides high quality client service and maintains professional standards of practice. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Education
- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
Experience
- Three years recognized clinical experience with demonstrated leadership ability.

- Demonstrates ability to plan & carry out responsibilities w/ minimal supervision

Other Information
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
- HSAS seniority in the SHA will be considered under the selection criteria
