Software Developer Co-op - Ross Platform Manager (Winter Term - January - April 2027) Co-op Student and InternshipsHybrid Remote , Nepean,Ontario Ross Video is a world leader in high-definition video production equipment, designed and manufactured in Canada and sold world-wide.Our products are used by a who's who of the global entertainment industry, including top broadcast networks like NBC, ABC, CBS and Fox in the USA; Our equipment has been used extensively at the recent Olympic games.Our equipment is even used on the International Space Station.Join Ross and you will have a chance to work on cool technology that will help our clients bring their visions to life! This position is primarily remote (work from home) with the occasional on-site day located at our Ottawa Campus in Nepean. Our pay rates range from $24 - $35 per hour, based on experience.
Currently enrolled in Computer Science or a similar academic program.
Experience with Java is a must.
Experience with front-end libraries and frameworks like React, Redux, and RxJS.
Experience with writing unit tests and using testing frameworks like Jest is highly valued.
Experience with tools and applications like npm, webpack, babel and NodeJS is an asset.
Experience with GitHub and GitLab is an asset.
Experience or familiarity with the Agile methodology.
Interested in developing cloud technologies and working in an AWS environment. You enjoy new technical challenges and are excited at the prospect of writing code for actual, shipping products.
