Le programme d'avions commerciaux A220 recherche une/un Spécialiste en Développement des Systèmes de Commandes de Vol primaire pour rejoindre le département de Contrôles Avion basé à Mirabel (Québec, Canada), où vous travaillerez en collaboration avec les équipes de Développement des Systèmes de Commandes de vol Européenne basé en France et en Allemagne. Vous ferez partie de l’équipe Développement des Systèmes de Commandes de vol chargée du développement et de la conception du système des commandes de vol primaires et secondaires pour le programme A220.
En tant que Spécialiste en Ingénierie, Développement des Systèmes de Commandes de vol primaires, votre mission sera de contribuer activement à l'élaboration détaillée de la composante de contrôle et de surveillance du système de vol FBW de l'A220.

Participer au développement du système de commandes de vol primaires du A220 (FBW), Déterminer les exigences niveau système et niveau composante pour rencontrer les objectifs techniques du programme, Mener la validation de fonctions sous votre responsabilité par revue de design, modélisation via Matlab / Simulink et tests sur différents niveaux de bancs d’essais (desktop, simulateur, banc d’essais niveau système), Mener des enquêtes techniques, analyser et développer des solutions, Utiliser la suite d’outils DevOps et maîtriser le cycle de développement des fonctions sous votre responsabilité,
Travailler avec d’autres fonctions et disciplines du programme pour fournir et obtenir l’information requise pour assurer la progression des projets de développement et certification, Baccalauréat en génie mécanique, génie électrique ou génie aérospatial (ou l’équivalent) dans une université reconnue et vous avez plus de 5 ans d’expérience.
Bonne connaissance de spécification, design, intégration, test et certification des systèmes de commandes de vol et/ou de ses composantes. Expérience avec les processus de développement de système ARP4754, incluant la décomposition de requis du niveau avion au niveau composante. Familier avec le processus de certification FAR 25 / CAR 525.
Bonnes compétences d’organisation et de planification. Expérience en simulation, avec le logiciel Matlab et Simulink. Connaissance des processus de développement basés sur des modèles (MBSE) (un atout) Expérience d’un cycle de développement complet du design préliminaire à l’entrée en service (un atout).
Excellentes habiletés de communication (écrite et orale) en français et en anglais. Capacité d’obtenir l’autorisation d’accès aux documents sujets au contrôle des exportations (Export Control Clearance). The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Primary Flight Control Systems Development Specialist (f/m) to join our Aircraft Control team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work in collaboration with the European Flight Control development teams based in France and Germany. You will be part of the Flight Control development team responsible for developing the A220 Primary and Secondary Flight Control System.
Your role as Flight Control Systems Development Engineering Specialist will be to contribute to the detailed design of the Control and Monitoring aspects of the A220 primary flight control system. These activities are carried out in collaboration with our European counterparts within the Airbus Group to leverage lessons learned from other Airbus platforms. The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is headquartered in Mirabel, in the greater Montreal area, where the vibrant city of Montreal is just a stone’s throw away.

Participate in primary FBW flight control system development on the A220 aircraft, Determine system-level and component-level requirements to fulfill aircraft technical requirements and objectives, Perform validation of functions under your area of responsibility by design review, simulation & modeling via Matlab / Simulink and testing on various test rigs (desktop, system level rig, simulator, iron bird), Conduct technical investigations, analyze and develop simple solutions, Participate to maintain the interface defined and agreed with the other aircraft systems, Participate in flight control system or component architecture definition , Use the DevOps tool suite and master the development cycle for functions under your area of responsibility, Coordinate with various Integrated Product Teams/Suppliers, work with all departments for design, validation and verification, testing and certification, support to certification authorities. University degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University.
Valuable knowledge of the specification, design, integration, test and certification of flight control systems and/or its components.
Experience in at least one complete development cycle from preliminary design to entry into service (an asset).
Experience in control systems development processes (based on ARP4754), including requirement decomposition from aircraft down to component level.
Experience with the A220 flight control system, primary or secondary (considered as an asset). Good organizational & planning skills.
Experience in simulation with Matlab software and Simulink. Knowledge of model based development engineering (MBSE) (considered as an asset).
Experience of development process from preliminary design to entry into service (considered as an asset). Strong communication skills in French and English (written and spoken). Team player who is also able to work individually and deliver quality results, even in challenging environments.
