Job Title: SQL Database Administrator Job Type: Full Time/ Contract Job Location: Montreal (Hybrid – 3 days Onsite, 2 days Remote) Responsibilities: Perform Core SQL DBA tasks. Configure and maintain database servers and processes Handle Database upgrades and migrations. Capacity planning for databases.

Working in Operations and handling Database alerts. Install, patch SQL 2016 through 2019. Performance tuning of Queries/applications Monitor system's health and performance Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time Provide suggestions for solutions Refine and automate regular processes, track issues,



and document changes Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours Requirements and Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.

Experience with SQL Server Administration experience required Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) Hands on experience with backups, restores and recovery models Experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player Preferred Skills: Robust experience with PowerShell and Azure
