Our Toronto office is looking for an Intermediate Accountantto join our Canadian Tax Services team. This is a net new position and the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities: Identify and document tax filing positions, including risk analysis Prepare or review personal, corporate, and trust income tax returns, along with other tax information forms Research tax issues and prepare memoranda or client letters and reports Deal with tax authorities on tax audits and appeals Prepare tax accruals working in accordance with applicable accounting standards clients describe you as positive, professional, and delivering high quality work You actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace You are pursuing your CPA designation You have 2 years of experience in public accounting You have familiarity with relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal, and trust tax compliance.
