Academy is searching for a qualified candidate to work with the rest of the campus team to help each student reach their full potential. Managing the Ontario University Applications (OUAC), Ontario College Applications (OCAS) and support students interested in other Canadian postsecondary options. Assisting students interested in international post-secondary applications.

Overseeing the application of Student Support Plans, support teachers and students as necessary, update Student Support Plans. Undertaking guidance administrative work, such as report cards, transcripts, etc. Assisting with Academy presentations and parent teacher interviews.

Compiling a list of Community Resources for students and recommend as needed. Discuss opportunities to study abroad or do academic exchanges with partner schools. Overseeing community service and extra-curricular programs for students.

Handling inquires as needed concerning full-time,



night-school, summer school courses, and private studies. College diploma or University degree preferred Minimum of two years’ experience in a secondary school Guidance role Familiarity with the OSSD and university program requirements (including EQAO, OUAC, ONSIS, OSR, inspection, competitions, etc.) Previous experience with international students highly preferred Excellent use of the Microsoft Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint Highly organized, the ability to multitask efficiently will be a strong asset in this position.
