The Platform

Engineering team at Lime is responsible for enabling software engineers to build, test and deploy Lime products globally at scale through resilient, cost effective and secure infrastructure, and high-quality developer and data science tooling.

You will be an in the moment problem solver with the ability to think about the short term and long term plan. You're energized about building and scaling and being part of a forward-thinking organization.

This is a remote position with a requirement for candidates to reside in Canada to maintain effective collaboration across teams.

Identify, define, and solve strategically essential technical problems, including architecting and building highly scalable foundational platforms, leading new product initiatives, and revamping existing core application experiences. Implement and manage security controls to ensure compliance with SOX and other relevant regulations Mentor and lead other engineers at Lime.

Advise

Lime’s leadership team on key technology adoption and process improvements. Contribute to shaping the overall engineering culture at the company. Participate in the team's on-call rotation, responding to incidents,



troubleshooting issues, and contributing to root cause analysis and service reliability improvements.

Respond to and troubleshoot production issues, outages, and critical alerts during assigned on-call shifts. Be available to provide occasional after-hours, weekend, and holiday support while on call. 7+ years of industry professional software development experience and a track record of building impactful products or systems. Skilled at writing logical and maintainable code, and providing clear feedback in code reviews.

Technical proficiency to understand and contribute to the design and implementation of projects and ideas. Ability to participate in a shared on-call rotation supporting production systems, including occasional after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage, with responsibility for responding to critical alerts, coordinating escalations to restore service, and documenting issues to help prevent recurrence.

Experience in a pre-IPO or public company environment is a plus Operating Ruby on Rails in a cloud environment for 2+ years is a plus Depending on the position, the total compensation package may also include discretionary annual performance bonus opportunities and equity, subject to applicable plan terms and eligibility requirements. #We believe different perspectives help us grow and achieve more.
